Cristiano Ronaldo stood up off the substitutes bench and applauded Antony after he marked his Manchester United debut with a goal against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Having been thrown straight into the starting line-up following his arrival at Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, the 22-year-old took 35 minutes to open his goalscoring account for the club. The Brazilian was slipped in by Marcus Rashford and buried a low, left-footed effort beyond Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and into the far corner.
It was a cool and composed finish from the youngster, who had not had much of a sniff in and around the 18-yard box up until that point. Arsenal were enjoying their best spell of the game and had earlier seen a goal chalked off following a VAR check for a foul.

Antony, however, made no mistake when his big moment arrived. He latched onto Rashford's pass and made no mistake to hand United the lead for the fourth game running.
As he raced away to celebrate the Sky Sports cameras focused on Ronaldo, who was named among the substitutes for the fourth game running, and he was spotted on his feet, raising his hands aloft and applauding with a smile on his face. Unsurprisingly, it sparked a reaction from the United fans watching at home.
