Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo - who scored 24 goals in all competitions last season - is reportedly still a transfer target for Premier League rivals Chelsea.
According to journalist Todo Fichajes, the London club are keen to revive their interest in the Portuguese international following the departure of manager Thomas Tuchel. It comes after reports claimed that former Blues boss Tuchel rejected the opportunity to sign Ronaldo in the summer.
Fichajes also suggested that the 37-year-old striker was not in Erik ten Hag's plans at Old Trafford, and that the Reds would be open to allowing the veteran forward to leave the club.

Journalist Christian Falk recently claimed that Tuchel did not want to sign Ronaldo at Stamford Bridge because he feared the former Real Madrid and Juventus man would 'destroy' the team spirit in the dressing room.
Elsewhere, Sport have reported that Barcelona midfielder and United transfer target Frenkie de Jong could leave the Catalan giants in January.
The Reds were desperate to sign the Dutchman in the summer, but a move for the 25-year-old failed to materialise. De Jong was hesitant to move to United and opted to remain at the Camp Nou - despite the two clubs reportedly agreeing a fee for the former Ajax man.
De Jong's current contract with Barcelona is set to run out in the summer of 2026, which would mean that United would have to make a sizable offer if they want to secure his signature in the January transfer window.
The Dutchman has made 145 appearances for the LaLiga outfit since arriving from Ajax, registering 14 goals and 17 assists.
