Emergency services are continuing to search for a woman in the River Kelvin after a man was rescued and rushed to hospital last night.

A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being dragged along a Scots road by a white car in a hit and run.
Emergency services rushed to Queens Crescent in Livingston around 10.55pm on Friday after the 46-year-old victim was discovered lying in the street.
He was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and is being treated for a serious leg injury.
The man was standing beside the stationary white car before he was dragged some distance along the street by the vehicle. The driver then fled the scene at speed, driving out of Queens Crescent and onto Houston Road.
Detectives are appealing for information on the incident and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Constable Watson from Livingston CID said: “Queens Crescent is a busy residential street and there would have been a considerable amount of noise and commotion around the time of the incident. It is absolutely vital that anyone who witnessed what happened comes forward and assists with the investigation.
“Livingston North train station is also nearby and I would appeal to any pedestrians who were in the surrounding area, who may have noticed a white car driving at speed, to please get in touch.
“I would also encourage any motorists with dash-cams to check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance.
