Bomb squads have descended onto a Scots residential street to remove a number of items from a house.
Police were also called to the address on West End Drive in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire, today.
Officers confirmed a number of items were located within the property and that they have since been removed.
Police and bomb disposal units remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance at a house in West End Drive, Bellshill. As a result of items found within the house, which were safely removed, EOD are in attendance to assist.”
The Record has approached the EOD for comment.
