A speeding Albanian delivery driver with an expired licence who mowed down and killed a "bright and caring" Scots teenager has been jailed for more than five years.

A pensioner has died after being struck by a vehicle off the A6 in Stockport. Greater Manchester Police was called out to reports of a crash on Buxton Road at around 11.35am yesterday (November 9).
The force says a vehicle which was travelling south-east along Buxton Road mounted the pavement on its nearside. It then collided with a pedestrian, a 77-year-old man, near to junction of Fence Street. He was taken to hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
GMP says that following the collision, the vehicle re-joined the A6. It was then followed for a short distance by another driver, whose vehicle collided with the first car on London Road, at the junction of Mill Street.

The Manchester Evening News understands this led to the vehicle which struck the pedestrian hitting a lamppost. Pictures from the scene showed a white car smashed into a lamppost yesterday.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 29-year-old man, was arrested for causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody today (Friday) while the investigation is ongoing.
