A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 43-year-old who was found with serious injuries in a Scots flat on Monday evening.
Alan Robertson, 31, faces a charge of murder and another of possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place.
He made no plea at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody. He is expected to appear in court again within the next eight days.
Police were called to an incident at Kennishead Avenue, Glasgow, around 10.20pm on Monday, February 12.
A 43-year-old man was found with serious injuries. He sadly could not be saved and died at the scene a short time later.
Robertson was arrested and charged in connection with the death as officers cordoned off the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.20 pm on Monday, 13 February 2023, emergency services attended a report of a disturbance at a flat in Kennishead Avenue, Glasgow.
"A 43-year-old man was found with serious injuries and died a short time later at the scene.
"A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 15 February, 2023.”
