A man and woman have been charged in connection with the 'suspicious' death of a mum in Rochdale.
Kerry Newman's body was found on a footpath near Ashfield Valley Primary School and the Sandbrook Retail Park on Monday morning (July 17). The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on New Barn Lane.
Greater Manchester Police's Major Incident Team launched an investigation, with her death being treated as 'suspicious'. Police believe Kerry was taken from an address in Freehold to New Barn Lane in Rochdale where her body was found.

Two people have now been charged in connection with her death. Robert Halliwell, 48, and Melanie Bullen, 52, have both been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Halliwell, of Onley, Freehold, Rochdale, and Bullen, of Shirburn, Freehold, Rochdale, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today.
Following her death, Kerry's mother and stepfather described her as 'a loving daughter and mother of two boys'. They said she was 'taken away from us too soon'.
Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Smith said: "We are continuing to appeal to anyone with information relating to this incident to please come forward so we can determine what happened to Kerry and give her family the answers they deserve.
"This includes any witnesses, anyone with knowledge of the incident, CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage in relation to this incident."
