Last night’s instalment of Love Island: Aftersun saw controversial contestant Olivia Hawkins make quite the admission on live TV. Speaking as guests on the ITV2 dating show's spin-off alongside 'partner' Maxwell Samuda, the 27-year-old ring-girl reflected on her relationship with former flame Kai Fagan, with whom she came to blows with on the show on numerous occasions. Discussing the widely-talked-about moment that Olivia re-entered the villa with new beau Maxwell following her Casa Amor absence, where she hit out at ex-man Kai for also having made the decision to re-couple with brunette beauty Sanam Harrinanan, Olivia felt she needed to get something off her chest.
"Let me just say, I’ve watched that clip back and I put my hands up - I’m such hypocrite!," Olivia smiled. "No, honestly, I put my hands up.That was hypocritical of me. "In the moment, you know, it’s so intense.
Emotions were high - there were real feelings there, so when I walked through those doors, I was so nervous to come back with you [Maxwell]." She continued: "I’m just happy me and Kai have, like, sorted it all out. You know, I said to him like, ‘Thank you so much for being such a big part of my journey’. "And Sanam, we’ve actually got a really nice friendship.
She’s such a lovely girl. So yeah, I just wish them the best." At the dramatic post-Casa Amor recoupling earlier in the season, strutting back into the villa arm-in-arm with newbie Maxwell, Olivia described seeing Kai sat with Sanam as "very telling, very telling" when asked by hostess Maya. "Can't say I'm shocked," she continued, leaving her co-stars seemingly baffled as she had made the same decision.
