Former Love Island couple Mitchel Taylor and Abi Moores have sparked rumours that they are back together just months after their huge villa bust up. The pair were a couple on the summer series of Love Island this year, but they weren’t together long as they both had their heads turned. Twenty seven year old Mitch was stolen away from Abi by bombshell Ella Barnes, and Abi tried to make things work with fellow islander Scott Van Der Sluis.
However, it now appears that the couple are giving things a go on the outside world, as 25 year old Abi took to Instagram to share that she was on an “unexpected dinner date.” Fans were quick to pick up on what she had said, as they filled the comments section with speculation that they are back together. One person wrote: “I’m pretty sure they are together but keeping it on the down low. Or working on things.
He isn’t with Ella B anymore.” While another commented: “Gorgeous. My favourite. Messy Mitch is a fool.” Previously, when speaking about any potential romance with Mitch, Abi said: “Never say never.” Mitch and Ella left the villa together and appeared to be in a good place, but just weeks later, they both announced their split in separate statements.
Ella was first to break the news, as she admitted that she was “gutted” with what had happened.
Taking to Instagram story, Ella wrote: “Hi guys, Just wanted to come on here and keep you all updated, as you deserve to know as I wouldn't be where I am without you. “Unfortunately myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship. I really wanted things to work out, and I'm gutted that our journey has come to an end.” She finished off the post by wishing Mitch well and thanking her fans for their support since she left the villa.
