Mitchell and Ella B have been dumped from Love Island, following a public vote between the couple's voted least compatible by their fellow islanders. And with this final dumping, the show's finalists have been revealed as Ty and Ella, Sammy and Jess, Molly and Zach, and Whitney and Lochan.The dumping was announced by the show host Maya Jama who shocked the islanders when she arrived in the villa, and told them to gather around the firepit.
As the Islanders gathered round, she said: “Islanders. As you know, whilst on your romantic dates you were asked to vote which couple you thought were the least compatible.
I’m now going to reveal who each of you voted for.” Ella B and Mitch and Whitey and Lochan were at risk after the Islanders had their final dates, with each of them deciding who they thought was the least compatible pairing. Ella B and Mitch got four votes from the other couples, while they themselves voted for Whitney and Lochan.
It comes after fans shared their prediction that Whitney and Lochan may win the series, a theory which heightened after their final date resembled that of previous winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea. One wrote: "Whitney & Lochan having the biggest budget out of all the final dates IKTR" And another said: "Whitney and Lochan getting a yacht for their date… they are winners for sure" While a third wrote: “Whitney and Lochan getting the biggest budget final date it’s giving winners” Meanwhile, body language expert Darren Stanton has predicted that Ella and Tyrique will be crowned series champs, arguing that they "trust each other on a deeper level" and have "enormous amounts of chemistry."
