Love Island fans say they were left 'cringing' after Molly Marsh's dad pulled Zach for a chat over his recent behaviour. Sunday’s episode of the popular ITV dating show saw the islanders reunited with their families as parents visited the villa.
Couple Molly and Zach were shocked to see Molly’s mum, Janet, and dad arrive alongside Zach’s mum, Kirsty, and sister, Snoochie. But after Zach previously upset Molly by kissing his ex Kady in a challenge, her dad Gary initially seemed less than impressed to be meeting him.
Ready to pull him up on his behaviour, dad Gary pulled Zach to one side, saying: “Can we just have a quick chat, me and you?” After confronting his daughter’s new lover about kissing Kady, he told the basketball player: “I It really came across that it hurt Molly." After Zach apologetically admitted that he ‘handled the challenge wrong and felt awful,’ protective dad Gary responded: “Good, I’m glad you feel that way.” Molly’s dad then went on to raise his concerns with Zach, worried he could be led astray in the outside world, quizzing him on if he would kiss another girl on a night out. After Zach reassured the doting dad that he only had eyes for Molly, the pair returned to meet with the rest of the family at the fire pit.
But many viewers online were cringed out by the exchange, with one person saying: “While a fourth commented: "Uhm Molly's dad why tf would you say that about your potential son-in-law wtf." Another penned: “Molly's dad questioning Zach is cringe; I can’t take it seriously." A third wrote: “Molly's dad, pulling Zach for a chat, was cringe. Did he say he had a crush on Zach?" It comes as some fans were also confused about Molly's reaction to her parents' shock arrival into the villa. The
