Love Island 2022 start date announced - and they have a new location

Laura Whitmore has responded to claims by a former Love Island contestant who said she had landed the presenting job on the reality show because of her husband Iain Stirling. Ex-contestant Rachel Finni slated Laura's skills as she said she was 'gutted' the star was cast to host the ITV2 show.

Former Islander Rachel recently claimed Laura landed the job because her now-husband Iain, who narrates the show. Rachel, 29, also said Laura "isn't a great presenter" during a chat with Murad Merali in a YouTube interview.
