Lorraine Kelly is set to host the biggest day of two of her guest's lives on her ITV daytime show on Wednesday morning.
The Scots host will marry a gay couple live on air to celebrate a decade since the first same-sex wedding in England and Wales. The 64-year-old is paying tribute to the LGBTQ+ community by hosting a wedding live in the ITV studio.
Taking to Instagram to share the exciting occasion she wrote: "To celebrate 10 years of same sex marriage in England and Wales, viewers Luke and Gavin are getting married in our studio!
"Luke and Gavin have been together since 2019 and became engaged last year. To watch the couples beautiful love story, go to ITVX and don’t forget to tune in tomorrow from 9.00am to watch them say ‘I Do’"
In the teaser clip for 'Lorraine's Gay Wedding' episode, the much-loved chat show host chats to the couple, as they discuss the special day.
"It's going to be a very special day tomorrow, as you know we're celebrating ten years of same sex marriage which is extraordinary when you think about it.
"It's tremendous how far we've come.
"Not quite there yet, but we're getting there all the time."
