‘Lift’: Netflix’s Action Comedy Starring Kevin Hart Pushes Premiere Date, Gets First Look Photo

Jenelle Riley Deputy Awards and Features Editor Paul Walter Hauser has made hamburgers the latest red carpet accessory.The actor has found himself making the rounds lately thanks to his stunning turn as serial killer Larry Hall in Apple TV Plus’ limited series “Black Bird,” a role that has already netted him a SAG Award nomination and wins from the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards. After Jamie Lee Curtis asked him to bring her a burger to the next event, Hauser showed up at the Critics Choice Awards with a patty – only to learn Curtis couldn’t attend due to COVID. He later proposed to her with a smashburger at the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards and brought 20 burgers to the SAG Awards, where he handed them out to the likes of Adam Sandler. When Hauser’s name was called amongst the nominees in his category, he perfectly timed a blissful bite on camera.So when Hauser joined us as a guest on this week’s episode of the Variety Awards Circuit podcast, we wanted to get his opinion on one of our favorite hamburgers in town, from the Corner Deli – which is located inside a gas station next to our offices. Showtime Sports has set a premiere date for Goliath, a docuseries examining the historic life, career and impact of NBA center Wilt Chamberlain. The three-parter directed by Rob Ford (The Cost of Winning) and Christopher Dillon (A Crime to Remember) will debut on demand and on streaming on July 14 for all Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers before making its on-air debut on Showtime on July 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with episodes premiering each Sunday.

Apple TV+ has set a fall premiere date for limited drama series Lessons in Chemistry, starring and executive produced by Oscar winner Brie Larson. The series will debut with the first two episodes on Friday, October 13. New episodes will debut weekly on Fridays through November 24.

Pierce Brosnan isn't just a gifted actor but has also recently revealed a talent for painting, exhibiting his works in Los Angeles. The James Bond star showcased 50 paintings and 100 drawings in an LA gallery show titled 'So Many Dreams' which ran earlier this month. Starz has set a late summer premiere date for Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force. The third spinoff in the Power franchise starring Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan will premiere its second season Friday, September 1 at midnight ET on the Starz app, Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform across Brazil, Spanish-speaking Latin America, the UK and Ireland. Charna Flam Netflix announced the return of “Is it Cake?” and the addition of its latest “Nailed It!” spinoff, “The Big Nailed It Baking Challenge,” with both to premiere on the platform this summer. “Is It Cake, Too?” will premiere on June 30. It will keep deceiving celebrity judges as some of the world’s most talented bakers compete to create hyper-realistic cakes that look exactly like everyday objects. As they compete with cash on the line, judges and audiences will ask, “Is it real?” or… “Is it cake?” The eight-episode game show is hosted by Mikey Day and executive produced by Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Andrew Wallace and Cat Sullivan.
