At one point in his speech, Kristoffer recalled a dream he once had about meeting and walking with Marlon Brando in Chinatown, when the dream Marlon asked him to look a fish they had walked past and to tell him all the colors of the fish he saw.
“I told him I saw brown and silver,” Kristoffer said on stage, before the dream Marlon asked him again to look once more. It was then he started to see even more colors pop from the fish scales. “I saw red, and purple, yellow, green, orange…I saw every color. The tips of the scales were lined in gold.”
“The lesson,” he added, “was that you will miss everything if you don’t look closer. Look closer at yourself, look closer at you parents and cut them some slack every once and again…look closer at your professors, at your friends, at your neighbors, and at strangers that you pass day to day.”
Kristoffer then said that if you do this, “you’ll see colors that most people don’t.”

Timothée Chalamet was born to play Willy Wonka.
Wonka, director Paul King has revealed.Speaking to Rolling Stone, King said that Chalamet was offered the part because he already knew he could sing and dance, after seeing several videos of the actor performing onstage as a student at New York City’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art.“It was a straight offer because he’s great, and he was the only person in my mind who could do it,” King said. There a number of clips of Chalamet singing online, but it’s his rapping alter ego, Lil Timmy Tim, that really caught the world’s attention after one of his songs ‘Statistics’ was shown on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017.
Zack Sharf Digital News Director Despite reports over the years that Warner Bros. was courting the likes of Donald Glover, Ezra Miller and Ryan Gosling to play Willy Wonka, it was only Timothée Chalamet who got the offer to lead director Paul King’s prequel musical “Wonka.” And Chalamet didn’t even have to audition. King recently told Rolling Stone that he was a Chalamet “stan” and thus knew the actor had the singing and dancing chops required to play Wonka. “It was a straight offer because he’s great and he was the only person in my mind who could do it,” King said. “But because he’s Timothée Chalamet and his life is so absurd, his high school musical performances are on YouTube and have hundreds of thousands of views. So I knew from stanning for Timmy Chalamet that he could sing and dance really well.”

Charna Flam “‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ and ‘Happy Madison’ have probably seeped their way into Pete Davidson’s head, and ‘Bupkis’ is what’s come out,” is how the show’s director, Jason Orley recently described the new Peacock comedy series to Variety. Written, produced and starring Davidson, “Bupkis” immerses audiences into a “surrealist” adaptation of Davidson’s life with the help of a star-studded call sheet, including Joe Pesci, Brad Garrett, John Mulaney, Sebastian Stan, Ray Romano and more. “Bupkis” opens with a caricature of the celebrity as he takes a moment to “unwind” in the basement of his family home. Davidson throws on a pair of VR goggles, presses play on an immersive pornographic video and in a moment of pleasure — and soon-to-be distress — his mother, played by Edie Falco, walks in as he reaches his climax.
