Check it out below.Mikaela Straus, AKA King Princess, performed the 1994 grunge classic for the Australian radio show Triple J’s Like A Version series.“It’s a song I’ve listened to since I was a little kid,” shared Straus on their decision to cover the song. “My parents saw them play Lollapalooza in ’92, and I think I like to revisit songs that meant a lot to me when I was a kid and inspired me to do music. I thought I could leave my mark on it”.The cover transformed the classic grunge hit into a brighter and faster pop version.

Dream Wife have released their new single ‘Orbit’ from their forthcoming third album ‘Social Lubrication’ – as well as announcing details of a UK and US tour.‘Orbit’, produced by Dream Wife guitarist Alice Go and mixed by Alan Moulder, is a defiant song which they say was “written through the joy of jamming together and locking into the groove like a multi-limbed space-age organism.”They continued: “‘Orbit’ has a dance rock edge from the early ’00s of bands like New Young Pony Club and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Lyrically, it was inspired by post-lockdown London coming back to life and sharing a space through friendship, community and how each day you never know what’s in store for you or how a stranger can become someone close to you – for a day, a heartbeat, a phase, or a lifetime.” The new single follows their previous releases ‘Hot (Don’t Date A Musician)’ and ‘Leech’, all from the trio’s upcoming third album ‘Social Lubrication’ which is set for release on June 9 via Lucky Number.‘Social Lubrication’ is an entirely self-written and self-produced album by the trio.

Madness have announced a new UK arena tour taking place this winter, where they will be joined by special guests The Lightning Seeds.Announced today (April 21), the upcoming tour will kick off in Aberdeen at the end of November and hit arenas across the UK, before closing with a performance in Birmingham.It will feature appearances in cities including Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and Liverpool, as well as a penultimate slot at London’s O2 arena on December 15. King Krule has announced an upcoming album, ‘Space Heavy’, and shared the lead single taken from the release, the stripped-back track ‘Seaforth’.Announced today (April 13), the new LP will mark the fourth studio album from Archy Marshall – under his King Krule alias – and is set to explore “the space between” two locations he considers home.The theme of the album was inspired during its writing process, when Marshall began developing the tracks during commutes between London and Liverpool. Written throughout 2020 and 2022, he became “fascinated by the notion of ‘the space between’”.Arriving ten years after his debut album, ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon’, the 15-track LP will see the musician explore “a narrative of lost connection”, and give just as much emphasis towards the negative space in the songs as he does the positive.

Depeche Mode have announced the acts that will be joining them as support on their upcoming ‘Memento Mori’ tour.Announced today (April 12), the band – which is comprised of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan – shared the five acts that will be joining them for their string of tour dates across the continent and the UK later this year.The update was shared on Instagram, where the iconic duo announced that Cold Cave and Young Fathers would be among the names joining them throughout their 34 upcoming shows.Other newly-announced artists joining them include Berlin-based band Hope, former Savages singer turned solo star Jehnny Beth and British trip-hop band Haelos.The European leg of the tour kicks off next month with two performances in the Netherlands, taking place on May 16 and May 18.
