Kim Woodburn has weighed in on Phillip Schofield's ITV exit and admits she 'has no sympathy for him - while urging co-star Holly Willoughby to quit This Morning.
The 81-year-old, who has previously starred in Celebrity Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity, has spoken out and slammed both This Morning stars.
Kim's comments come as Phillip confessed that he was involved in an affair with a younger co-worker at ITV. It came days after he made an abrupt exit from presenting This Morning.
Many famous television personalities including Eamonn Holmes have all shared their views on the shock news according to reports in the Mirror, and now Kim Woodburn has commented in a recent interview.
Speaking to Gaydio, Kim said she "didn’t feel sorry" for Phillip and thought he'd had the This Morning gig for "too long".
She said: "Give it to somebody else who is nice and friendly. When somebody is rude and nasty and vicious, which he’s been with me, I can’t feel sorry for him.
"He’s had 20-odd years of earning over £1 million a year. He’s had the job too long."
Kim also added her thoughts on Holly, adding that she believes its time for the 42-year-old host to leave her daytime job.
She explained: "I don’t think she will have a choice."
Kim, who has previously appeared as a guest on This Morning, also spoke of her time on the morning show: "You could tell he was king on that show. I mean, he was really ruling the roost. And whenever I’ve been on with him, he hasn’t been very pleasant.
"He wasn’t pleasant about my experience on Big Brother. He was downright nasty. He was sniggering at me."
