A killer who lured the father of her unborn child to his death casually continued making sandwiches at a cafe when questioned about the murder, a new TV documentary has revealed. Detectives who investigated Tasmin Glass have revealed they were stunned by her demeanour when she was approached about the death of her former boyfriend Steven Donaldson.
The aspiring actress and singer was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2019 after being convicted of culpable homicide for her role in the "savage and depraved" murder near Kirriemuir, Angus, the previous year. Glass, who was 20 at the time, was found by a jury to have instigated and planned a brutal attack on the 27-year-old oil worker, while her co-accused Steven Dickie and Callum Davidson were convicted of murder.
She is due to be considered for parole and could be released as early as next month. Now a new Channel 4 documentary called Murder Case: The Digital Detectives has revealed how Glass was "emotionless" throughout the probe into Steven's death.
Detective Constable Nicola Annan, of Police Scotland, told how she went to a cafe in Kirriemuir where Glass worked to speak to her after Steven's body was discovered. She said: "I went to the cafe where Tasmin was working. During this time Tasmin's behaviour I would say was quite bizarre.
"She continued to make up sandwich fillers and spread rolls and have general chit-chat. Bearing in mind this is her boyfriend who has been brutally murdered and she is standing there mixing up her tuna and onion."
The programme also showed recordings of Glass's police interviews where she stared blankly at detectives and gave a series of "no comment" answers.
In one clip, DC Annan is heard telling her: "Your demeanour has still not changed.

Editors note: Filmmaker and producer Davis Guggenheim directed 2006’s An Inconvenient Truth featuring Al Gore. The film won the Oscar and helped put Jeff Skoll‘s social-impact-driven production company then known as Participant Media on the map, and also sounded an alarm about climate change that has become more pronounced since the film was released. In addition to documentaries, Participant was also responsible for Oscar Best Picture winners Spotlight and Green Book, and Steven Soderbergh’s Contagion, another timely topic. Guggenheim is a co-founder of Concordia Studio and most recently directed and produced Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, which won four Emmys including for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special.
