Kerry Katona has taken a savage swipe at CBB’s Fern Britton after her infamous This Morning interview with Fern and Phillip Schofield in 2008. During the former Atomic Kitten star's appearance 16 years ago, she could be heard slurring her words - which was later revealed to be due to her bipolar medication - prompting Fern to ask if she was an alcoholic.
Now Kerry, 43, has taken revenge on Fern with a savage swipe after she got into a heated argument with Strictly's Nikita Kuzmin on Celebrity Big Brother, which led fans to brand her "patronising". Posting a video to Instagram, a fresh-faced and pyjama-clad Kerry could be seen watching the TV as she said: "Is Fern a little bit drunk? I think Fern has had one too many in the house and she is drunk.
Fern, are you an alcoholic or is it your medication?" There is no suggestion that Fern was under the influence of alcohol during her argument with Nikita. In the post's caption, Kerry backed Nikita, as she wrote: "@bbuk @itvxofficial it must be her medication! so much respect for @nikita__kuzmin for holding his own obviously, Fern is not an alcoholic.
I’m completely taking the p*** and being ironic sense the sarcasm people." One of her followers commented: "Best served cold Kerry," whilst a second said: "You're not forgetting it are you Kerry?" A third added: "What goes around comes around.. I remember the accusations on This Morning towards you." During Kerry's infamous This Morning interview, Fern asked her: "A lot of people say when you have addictive personality and give up one addiction it is replaced with another.
Is it alcohol?" On reflection Fern later said: "That opened the gates of misunderstanding and upset. You don't intend to upset anybody, but I managed to." In
