Kerry Katona has had a huge transformation in recent years and has completely turned her life around from struggling with cocaine addiction to living in domestic bliss with her five children, and fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Reflecting on how her life has changed in her OK! column, Kerry, 43 discussed a recent night out with Ryan, that ended with her in bed by 10:30pm - a far cry from the partying lifestyle she would hit headlines for in her early career. She told us: "Ryan and I headed out on a double date with our friends Anthony and Serene last week, we had a right old giggle! It’s funny, I say ‘double date’, but really it was the boys chatting and Serene and I chatting, rather than me and Ryan.
"It was a fun night, but I was in my bed by 10:30! I wasn’t drinking because I just don’t really drink these days, so I was on the water and then wanted my bed after dinner. I just can’t hack late nights anymore, I’m up early in the morning - I am not a night owl at all." Last year Kerry revealed that she would have to undergo surgery as her nose was collapsing due to her years of drug use. Posting to social media, she explained: "So I have damaged my nose from doing drugs.
"[The doctor] went, ‘Your nose is collapsing’. So he said, ‘Do you want us to fix it for you?’ And I started crying because it’s a massive 360 from where I was to where I am now. And I think, ‘Wow wow wow, OK I’ll get it fixed’." And in a previous OK! column, Kerry gave an update on this, as she wrote: I’m waiting for a date from Pall Mall for the reconstructive surgery I need for my nose, as a result of cocaine abuse.
