The 51-year-old actor has picked up trophy after trophy for his role in Everything, Everywhere All At Once, and his next stop is the Oscars.
Following his win at the 2023 Independent Spirit Awards, Ke Huy spoke to press backstage about his honor and winning streak.

So far, Ke Huy has picked up the SAG, Critics Choice, BAFTA, and a few other statuettes for the flick, and the meaning of all the honors is not lost on him.
“I don’t even know how I got here, how all of this happened,” he said to press, via IndieWire. “It feels incredible to be here. This is what I’ve always wanted for so long, but I didn’t think it would ever happen to me.”
He reflected, “It was just during the pandemic, not that long ago, that I couldn’t get a job. It’s been so amazing since our movie came out … I’ve been so grateful … I’m so excited every time I come to an event like this and meet so many people I’ve loved and admired for so long.”
Ke Huy‘s final awards stop will be at the 2023 Oscars, where he’s nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
