Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall appear to have teamed up to shut down claims made by Meghan Markle in her Netflix docuseries with Prince Harry through a "hidden" message.
In the third episode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' explosive documentary, the former actress said she purposely chose to not wear bright colours during her time as a senior royal and explained that her usual colour palette was "camel, beige and white".
She claims this was a deliberate decision to avoid clashing with the late Queen Elizabeth II, the Express reports.
Meghan said: "There was thought in that, to my understanding, you can’t ever wear the same colour as Her Majesty if there's a group event.
"I wore a lot of muted tones but it also was so I could just blend in. Like I’m not trying to stand out here."
However, just a week after the episode dropped on the streaming platform, the Princess of Wales hosted her annual Christmas Carol concert at Westminster Abbey which was attended by numerous members of the Royal Family.
For the occasion, the future Queen opted for a burgundy coat from Eponine in London which she paired with a matching clutch bag and shoes.
Other royals also wrote the bright colour, including Zara Tindall, who is the daughter of Princess Anne and the niece of King Charles, as well as Kate's daughter Princess Charlotte.
