As news of Prince Harry's potential return to the UK hit headlines, one friend of Prince William and Kate has revealed that if the prince did move back to England, it would 'go down like a bucket of warm sick'.
Friends of the Prince and Princess of Wales have broken their silence on the rumours that Harry and Meghan Markle could head back to the UK, potentially spending more time in England, after Harry suggested in a statement heard by the High Court this week, reports the Mirror.
According to The Daily Beast, a friend of the Waleses has said: "The one saving grace of this whole situation is that they live 5,000 miles away. The idea of them coming back here will go down like a bucket of warm sick."
But despite the claims, a friend of the King revealed to the outlet that the King would likely be 'thrilled' to have his son and his family visit the UK regularly.
The news comes after the High Court head that the Duke of Sussex believes his American-born kids cannot 'feel at home' in the UK.
At a hearing in London on Thursday, the Duke of Sussex's barrister, Shaheed Fatima KC read out an excerpt from the Duke's statement in which he said: “It was with great sadness for both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020.
“The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the US. That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil.
"I cannot put my wife in danger like that and, given my experiences in life, I am reluctant to unnecessarily put myself in harm’s way too."
