Josie Gibson was supported by fans before and after she was seen breaking down in tears while live on This Morning. The presenter has been back fronting the ITV daytime show this week after it was revealed she hadn't been chosen as the permanent main host.
Last week, ITV finally confirmed Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's official replacements as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard. The pair will become the show's new duo, hosting the show from Monday to Thursday while Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond remain in their Friday slot.
With Cat and Ben set to start in the role next month (March), it was Josie who returned to the helm on Monday and Tuesday alongside Craig Doyle before she continues the week with Dermot O'Leary from Wednesday (February 21).

Taking to Instagram amid Tuesday's show (February 20), Josie was seen posing backstage as she showed off her new copper locks while sporting a vibrant all-blue outfit. "We have a cracking show lined up for you today! Join us on @thismorning from 10am," she captioned the post which was liked by former co-star Holly.
When on the show, Josie was seen in tears as Agony Aunt Deidre Sanders conducted a phone-in on grief alongside 2023 Strictly Come Dancing contestant Annabel Croft.
One of the calls came from a woman who spoke emotionally about losing her 19-year-old daughter. Deidre and Annabel were on hand to share their experience and advice as callers rang the helpline, but Josie became really upset when Shelley came on the line to talk about the loss of her teen daughter following an illness.
