Jon Bon Jovi has candidly expressed that he might retire from music if his vocal performance doesn't recover after a recent injury. The 62 year old American rock icon, who has been recuperating from vocal cord surgery for almost two years, made his return to the stage at the MusiCares gala in Los Angeles this February.
"This is the first time I'm saying this," Bon Jovi disclosed in an interview with The Sunday Times. "If the singing is not great, if I can't be the guy I once was... then I'm done."

I sing in vocal therapy every day. But I want to perform for two and a half hours a night, four nights a week and I know how good I can be, so if I can't be that guy ... put it this way, I don't ever need to be the fat Elvis."
In March, Bon Jovi announced their upcoming 16th studio album, 'Forever', set to release on June 7, following their last tour in 2022. The band's repertoire includes hits like 'Livin' On A Prayer', 'It's My Life', 'You Give Love A Bad Name', and 'Thank You For Loving Me'.
Bon Jovi's personal life also makes headlines with his 21 year old son Jake Bongiovi recently getting engaged to 'Stranger Things' actress Millie Bobby Brown.
He shared: "I've gotten to know her (Millie) in the last year, she works really hard, and she
