Joe Otterson TV Reporter Chris Houghton and Shane Houghton, the creators and executive producers of the Disney Channel animated series “Big City Greens,” have signed an overall deal with Disney Branded Television. The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. Under the multi-year deal, the Houghtons will produce animated projects with Disney Television Animation studio while also developing live-action projects with Disney Branded Television across all platforms.

Kayla Wallace (“When Calls The Heart”), frequent Sheridan collaborator James Jordan (“Yellowstone”) Mark Collie (“Nashville”) and Paulina Chávez (“The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”) have all joined the series alongside previously announced lead Billy Bob Thornton and fellow series regulars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland.

Annika Pham Copenhagen-based LevelK has pounced on world sales rights to the Swedish suspense thriller “Hunters on a White Field,” toplining stellar acting trio Jens Hultén (“Skyfall”, “Mission Impossible Rogue Nation”), Magnus Krepper (“The Promised Land,” “Queen of Hearts”) and Ardalan Esmaili (“The Charmer,” “Snabba Cash”). Joe Otterson TV Reporter Vince McMahon has resigned from his position as the executive chairman of the board of TKO Group Holdings, Inc., the company formed by Endeavor that merged WWE and the UFC. “I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors,” WWE president and TKO board member Nick Khan said in an email to staff seen by Variety. “He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.” McMahon’s ouster comes after former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him, the company, and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis.
