Janey Godley has admitted that she feels broken after online trolls sent her a picture of a grave with her name on it.
The Scots comic, who is currently battling terminal cancer, said she is often targeted on social media, but admitted the sinister message had really affected her.
The sick post was sent on X, formerly Twitter, and featured a picture of a gravestone with the words 'Janey Currie - 1961 - 2024' emblazoned on it. Currie is Janey's middle name.
Sharing the vile tweet, the comedian, 63, said: "This broke me - seeing my grave they created . I tried to not let it, but it got me."
Many of Janey's fans rushed to send her messages of support.
One penned: "We love you Janey. Vast majority feel this. So sorry you had to put up with this.."
Another added: "Oh my god, this is evil. I am disgusted. I hope you’ve reported this to the relevant authorities."
While one said: "I’m so sorry Janey. There are some horrid folk. Sending love x."
One commented: "I'm so sorry. I think you're brilliant, and I love watching you live your life joyfully, bravely and unapologetically. Thank you."
