James Martin has declared that a certain guest is never welcome again on his Saturday morning slot on This Morning.
The celebrity chef, who presents the popular cookery programme where he rustles up dishes with other culinary talents and welcomes famous guests, hinted that one individual won't be making a comeback following a string of mishaps.
During a recent episode James was joined by chefs Kenny Atkinson, Asma Khan, and Glynn Purnell, as well as Loose Women's Linda Robson who was there to sample the delectable offerings. However, Glynn Purnell, affectionately known as the Yummy Brummie, might not grace the show again in the near future.
While preparing a surf and turf dish featuring mussels and short rib beef, Glynn encountered a few slip-ups. In the midst of cooking the mouth-watering meal, both he and James found themselves at a loss for spoons, which had mysteriously disappeared.
It wasn't long before Glynn noticed that one spoon had inadvertently ended up in the sauce he was preparing, reports the Mirror.
"I've lost a spoon in there chef but I'm sure we'll dig it out eventually," he remarked, only to discover another spoon had also taken a dive into his creation. "That one's gone in there again chef, want to grab that one out for me," he requested.
The banter on set was priceless as James and Glynn were reduced to hysterics. James humorously quipped: "This is Glynn Purnell - this is the first and the last time you'll see him."
