A This Morning guest was left in tears as her 'drop a decade' makeover was revealed live on air, on Monday, 13 May, episode of the ITV show. The show's 'drop a decade' segment, led by 10 Years Younger legend Nicky Hambleton-Jones, featured guest Paula who had lost confidence in her appearance ahead of her 55th birthday.
Paula underwent a wardrobe revamp, hair transformation, eyebrow microblading, teeth whitening, and even filler and Botox treatments.
The big reveal happened live on air with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, leaving Paula overwhelmed with emotion. As she walked into the This Morning studio, showing off her glamorous new look, Ben and Cat, who have been hosting the show since making their debut on Monday, 11 March, couldn't help but comment that she looked "sensational".
Upon seeing herself in the mirror for the first time, Paula broke down in tears, saying: "I don't want to cry because I don't want to ruin my lovely makeup". Paula was absolutely thrilled with her makeover, exclaiming: "All of it, from start to finish", and noted: "It's given me my glow back." Ben couldn't hide his amazement at the transformation, saying: "I just can't get over it, you can see the difference it all makes when it comes together, you just look so much more confident as well." Paula also hinted that her friends and family are in for a shock since she's kept her new look a secret until now.
Meanwhile, Ben had a full schedule at the ITV studio, having earlier made an unexpected appearance on Lorraine Kelly's show. The beloved Scottish host, who boasts a 40-year career in TV, received the Academy Special award from actor Brian Cox at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday, 12 May.
