ITV bosses have teased a huge shake-up in this week's Dancing On Ice, having axed the dreaded skate-off for Sunday night's live show. The popular show returned to TV screens two weeks ago, with former professional boxer Ricky Hatton the first celeb axed from the star-studded line-up. Ricky had faced comedian Lou Sanders in the skate-off, with judges Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo all opting to save Lou.
However, this week there will be no skate-off, with the judges' scores and the public's votes instead being combined with the lowest-ranking couple then being axed from the show. Speaking to the MailOnline, an ITV spokesperson said: "This weekend we don't have a skate-off at the end of the show. Whoever is at the bottom after the judges scores and viewers votes will leave the competition." ITV has confirmed these reports to OK! It comes after Holly Willoughby made her return to TV in the show's launch episode, where she was joined by Stephen Mulhern - a pairing that fans were quick to compliment.
As the launch show aired, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share that Holly and Stephen seemed to be having a whale of a time. One wrote: "Stephen and Holly have been amazing.
