Jack James Ryan has without a doubt been his older sister's biggest cheerleader as she joined him in the cast of Coronation Street.
The actor, who has returned to the soap as Jacob Hay following a brief stint on the cobbles in early 2021, has regularly been showing his support for Rebecca Ryan who bowed out of Corrie earlier this week after three months of playing Lydia Chambers.
The 30-year-old actress first appeared in Weatherfield back in December as the PA of a client of Underworld's which is when she met Sarah Barlow. Bonding over the fact they both had a son of the same age, Sarah became friends with Lydia and was soon introducing her to hubby Adam.

Lydia, however, already knew Adam, being one of his former flames for their university days, but he just didn't remember her and his reaction triggered past hurt for Lydia who set about getting revenge on her ex which ultimately led to her telling Sarah she was having an affair with her husband and planted evidence to make it look like that was the case.
But things took a turn during Monday night's Corrie when Adam confronted Lydia about her lies once and for all. She admitted what she had done and an emotional Lydia jogged Adam's memory about their time dating back at university and how badly he treated her, telling him how she was left seeking an abortion alone when she fell pregnant at the age of 19.
