ITV Celebrity Big Brother's Gary Goldsmith - the 'black sheep' uncle of Kate Middleton who's no stranger to scandal

Gary Goldsmith, the Princess of Wales's uncle, is one of the famous faces that has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house for ITV's brand new series.
Gary is the younger brother of Kate Middleton's mother, Carole Middleton, and attended the weddings of both Kate and her sister Pippa. The 58-year-old is often described as the 'black sheep' of his family and is certainly no stranger to scandal.
He reportedly tried to land himself a deal to appear on ITV's I'm A Celebrity last year but he was rejected at the final stage. It's understood the businessman is preparing to release a book spilling secrets about the royal family and hitting back at claims made in Prince Harry's recent memoir.

Gary grew up in a council house in Hounslow, west London, with his parents and sister. Their father was a painter and decorator and their mother worked in retail. The controversial character is now worth an estimated £30 million after building a career working in IT recruitment, investing and selling several of his businesses in the sector.
Gary was caught up in a sting when the News of the World accused him of offering undercover reporters drugs and Brazilian prostitutes at his villa on the Spanish island of Ibiza, which he named La Maison de Bang Bang. The allegations came just ahead of the Royal wedding of Will and Kate. Gary was still allowed to attend and arrived at the ceremony in a bright blue Rolls Royce convertible.
