ITV axes Gino D'Acampo new show after two episodes in shock decision

It's been all change on the This Morning sofa since Phillip Schofield's exit, and now viewers have been left wondering what has happened to Holly Willoughby when she was absent from today's show. Holly has stuck around as the main host of the ITV daytime show after former co-star Phil left and has been joined by a succession of guest presenters over the last few weeks with no permanent replacement announced.

Eamonn Holmes was filmed knocking back bubbly straight from the bottle as he lived it up at Royal Ascot. The TV presenter, 63, appeared to be in high spirits as he and ‘mum blogger’ Laura-Ann Barr swapped hats and enjoyed booze together at the famous horse racing event. In a video shared to Instagram, the veteran broadcaster wore a formal suit as he took a swig straight from a wine bottle before grinning sheepishly at the camera.

Well, at least he was pretending.  In those last few episodes, I didn’t need to be a body language expert to see from Holly, tensions between them had reached boiling point, and there was clearly something going on.

In her new column, Carol wrote: "The only 'new' revelation to come out of the whole ITV bosses' pointless questioning by MPs is the obvious disdain and contempt they have for their viewers after it was revealed they refer to them as 'Tower Block Tracey's'.
