Sir Alex Ferguson is still looking for a buyer for his Cheshire home after putting it on the market last year. The legendary former Manchester United boss put his mansion in Wilmslow up for sale a month after the death of his wife Cathy.
The 82-year-old's wife passed away in October last year, aged 84, and left behind her husband, three sons, two sisters, 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The pair met when the United manager was just 23, in 1964, and they got married two years later - with their union lasting 57 years.
Just a month after her death, in November, the former United manager put their five-bed property on the market with a £3.5 million price tag. Despite having lots to offer, the grand mansion still remains on the market today in the hopes of finding a new owner.

Found on one of Cheshire's most 'desirable' roads, the property itself spans around 7,000 square foot and also has a large, manicured garden to the rear.
On the ground floor, the home has a grand reception hall which leads to an open plan breakfast kitchen, a living room, sitting room, dining room, an office and a downstairs WC. This floor also has access to the large garage.
