Ferne McCann said she threw her "toys out the pram" when she thought Lorri wasn't proposing during their romantic trip to Paris. In the most recent episode of the Saving Grace podcast released on Wednesday, 28 September, host and TikTok sensation GKBarry sat down with Ferne to "spill the tea". After talking about her baby daughter, Finty who Ferne welcomed into the world earlier this year with fiancé Lorri Haines, they went on to discuss their upcoming wedding.
Lorri popped the question to the former TOWIE star during a romantic getaway to Paris in July last year. Grace asked: "Did you like the engagement?", while Ferne replied: "It was amazing and I never thought it would happen for me". She went on to share that she's always had "such bad luck with men" and "always went for the wrong guy." Talking further about their engagement, Grace asked: "Did you know he was going to propose?", immediately, Ferne responded "yeah" but said she was "thrown off the scent." "We were in France and I thought, he's definitely going to propose and then nothing happened", the mum of two said.
Before continuing: "There were so many moments he could have proposed, and I ended up getting absolutely smashed. "I sort of threw my toys out the pram and I was like 'Ah it's not going to happen let's just get drunk, we're in France, let's drink some lovely wine'". Ferne went on to explain that they filmed a scene on the beach, for her TV series but said at the time she "couldn't even get her words out", due to the fact she "rarely gets drunk being a mum" and the sea air had hit her.

Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic The sequels — or, in two cases, prequels — to “The Exorcist” have all been unqualified turkeys. There is now a movement at hand to declare that John Boorman’s crackpot insect-swarm fantasia “Exorcist II: The Heretic” (1977) was some sort of misunderstood masterpiece, but that’s an act of revisionism every bit as loony tunes as “Heaven’s Gate” revisionism.
