I'm A Celebrity's South Africa special will air in a matter of weeks, it has been announced.The pre-recorded jungle special, which will feature some of the biggest celebrity legends from the last 20 years, will be on our screens every night every weekday from Monday 24 April and he will air for three weeks, it has been announced.This time it is all ex-campmates who have chosen to head back into the jungle for a second time, swapping the Aussie outback for the South African jungle. Shows bosses have tipped that the harsher and more unforgiving environment will push the celebs to their limits and test them like never before.
Ant and Dec revealed the nine stars who will be kicking off the show on last week’s Saturday Night Takeaway, including Countdown legend Carol Vorderman, US model Janice Dickinson, cricketer Phil Tufnell, boxer Amir Khan, Diversity's Jordan Banjo, athlete Fatima Whitbread, royal butler Paul Burrell, Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan, and The Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder. Fans of the show were quick to point out the absence of Lady Colin Campbell from the all stars line up, whose action-packed stint in the jungle made her an I’m a Celebrity icon.
However, it's been revealed that nine stars revealed so far are not the complete line-up. With no public vote to decide their fate, the stars will be competing against each other in a battle to become the first ever "I'm A Celebrity Legend".
