Houston, whose full name was Whitney Elizabeth Houston, was born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey. Her first two albums, 1985’s Whitney Houston and 1987’s Whitney, both reached number one on the Billboard 200 and are among the best-selling albums of all time. She holds the record as the only music artist in history to have seven consecutive number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, from 1985’s “Saving All My Love For You” to 1988’s “Where Do Broken Hearts Go?” She has two Emmys, six Grammys and 28 Guinness World Records.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts said “up yours cancer” after becoming the fastest woman to complete the London Marathon with a stoma bag.The 44-year-old, who began using a stoma bag in 2021 after surgery for bowel cancer, ran the race in three hours 30 minutes and 22 seconds and was awarded with a Guinness World Record at the end.The official Guinness World Record’s Twitter account shared a picture of the DJ with her certificate after the race, writing: “Adele Roberts completed the fastest marathon with an ileostomy (female) in 3:30:22. Congratulations, Adele!” Adele had a tiny replica medal made for her stoma, which she has named Audrey, which she shared in a video posted on her Instagram story.
