Owen Warner and his co-star girlfriend Jemma Donovan have reportedly split just a few months after going public with their romance. Hollyoaks star Owen, who came second when he appeared in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year, seemingly confirmed the relationship when he posted a loved-up snap with Jemma back in April. Jemma, who is the daughter of Aussie soap legend Jason Donovan, and Owen were pictured cuddling up as they grinned at the camera.
They later made their red carpet debut at the British Soap Awards on 3 June.
In pictures from the event, the pair looked all smiles as they wore matching red outfits - but it looks the relationship has already cooled. A source, speaking to The Sun, claimed that the pair had decided they were better off as friends: “They had great fun together but, long term, decided it's better to just be friends.
They are both super-professional, so it won't change anything at work.” OK! has approached representatives for Owen and Gemma for comment. Owen made his first appearance on Hollyoaks back in 2018, when he was first cast as local heartthrob Romeo Nightingale.
