Hollyoaks star Maddy Smedley has confirmed that she is leaving the show, and her last scenes have already been filmed.The actress rose to fame on the BBC hit show The Traitors before landing the role of talent agent Faye Fuller on the Cheshire based soap. During her short time on the programme, Maddy has been working alongside Owen Warner, who plays Romeo, to help the troubled influencer Rayne, who is in a relationship with Romeo.

The Channel 4 soap, Hollyoaks, is having a huge shake-up in 2024.The episode numbers are dropping, and reports say ‘20 characters’ will be axed during a time jump twist set to air later this year.The soap has already lost three huge actors in the last three months, Owen Warner (Romeo Nightingale), Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox) and Ross Adams (Scott Drinkwell).
