Holly Willoughby has been told 'thank you' as she broke her social media silence as she takes time away from work. The This Morning presenter has been away from the small screen for weeks now after heading off on her usual summer break.
Holly, 42, is in the midst of her eight-week-long absence from the ITV show. Some viewers were left surprised by her sudden exit as it came with no warning or the usual fanfare of hosting an extra episode during the final week.
And while it isn't clear when the mum-of-three, who was last seen on the programme on Thursday, July 6, will return, she has been seen supporting her co-stars as they replace her at the helm by 'liking' their posts on social media.

But while she has been somewhat active on Instagram, resharing Instagram Story posts from her wellness brand Wylde Moon, on Wednesday (August 9) she shared her first proper post as she threw her support behind a returning charity appeal.
Sharing a video with her 8.4 million followers, Holly wrote: "This October, you can join #TheBrilliantBreakfast and raise funds for @PrincesTrust! I did this last year and had the best time…."
The Princes Trust ambassador went on: "From a croissant with colleagues to a poached egg extravaganza with friends, get involved by holding a Brilliant Breakfast between the 9th and 15th October whilst raising funds to empower young women with the skills to live, learn and earn. Through #TheBrilliantBreakfast, we can make a big difference and support disadvantaged young women…"
She then rounded off her post by saying: "Thank you for your help," before she was thanked in return. The social media account for The Brilliant
