Holly Willoughby 'disappointed' by This Morning NTA loss as 'embarrassed' move uncovered while Alison Hammond was 'different'

Holly Willoughby was left 'disappointed by This Morning's loss at the National Television Awards and the move that hid her 'embarrassment' has also been revealed. The presenter attended the bash after the ITV daytime show was nominated in the 'Daytime' category.
But the programme, who had been on a winning streak having taken home the gong every year since 2011, lost its best daytime show title at the 2023 NTAs, which took place at London's O2 on Tuesday night (September 5), as The Repair Shop claimed the prestigious prize.
A body language expert has now assessed Holly's reaction to the loss as she sat alongside Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle, Rochelle Humes and more members of the 'This Morning family'.

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, body language expert Darren Stanton said Holly showed she felt 'disappointed' and 'embarrassed' through masked smiles and disengaged eye contact
"Looking at Holly’s reaction, she was trying to put on a brave face. I picked up that she was feeling a lot of turmoil in her head and internally," Darren said. "I can see that she was feeling gutted by masking a smile and her eye contact - there was no engagement through her facial expressions. She wanted to mask her disappointment in front of everyone, understandably. I can tell she also felt an embarrassment from the way she avoided eye contact on camera.”
He also claimed that her "insincere half-hearted clap" shows that she was "devastated" by the blow which has come amid a turbulent time behind-the-scenes of the popular programme in recent months following the Phillip Schofield scandal, while Alison different act showed she "was happy
