Helen Flanagan has revealed her eight year old daughter Matilda had a scary health scare while on holiday.
The former Coronation Street star, 33, shared on social media that Matilda was left 'paralysed' due to Bell's Palsy. Helen posted a lovely photo of herself with Matilda and wrote: "Looking back at Bali pics [pink hear emoji] Matilda started with Bell's Palsy on holiday.
It's cleared now as she had a course of steriods to clear but half her face was paralysed which was not ideal on holiday bless her." She added: "So glad it's cleared now, it was brought on from a bad eye infection." According to the NHS website, Bell's Palsy is a condition causing temporary weakness or lack of movement affecting one side of the face. It advises that treatment with steroids can help and most people recover within six months.
It comes after Helen quipped that she was "never travelling again" following a number of disasters after she and her three children jetted off on their holiday to Bali. Posting a series of photos to her Instagram story, Helen was joined by two year old Charlie as they posed for pictures while on a plane.
In one adorable snap, the mum-of-three and Charlie beamed for the camera, with Helen writing: “Never travelling again” alongside a series of cry laughing emojis. While travelling with three children is a stressful experience for any parent, Helen’s adventures have been made that little bit more taxing after facing several hiccups on the trip.
After landing in Bali at the end of December following a 16-hour flight, the TV personality arrived at her hotel only to discover that she’d picked up the wrong luggage while at the airport. Elsewhere, Helen revealed that she’d “burnt her boobs” after spending time in the Bali
