A street was locked down by cops after an alleged stabbing left a pavement covered in blood. Four police vehicles were spotted on Burns Street in Bootle, Merseyside, early this morning.
Officers were seen taping off the end of the street next to a Go Local store just after 7am. Eyewitnesses claimed that a man had been stabbed in the face and that two people had been arguing outside a home then further along the street.
One neighbour alleged that a woman was later lying down on the street close to a man with blood all over his shoes. On Sunday afternoon kids in the area could be seen inspecting a blood trail leading up the street.
