Comedian Chris Redd, who was attacked outside the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village on Wednesday night, has been released from the hospital, the Los Angeles Times reported. Deadline has confirmed that the former Saturday Night Live castmember’s show at New York’s City Winery on Sunday has been canceled. The club said in a statement that “the show has been cancelled due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.” Deadline also reached out to Redd’s rep and will add any comment received.

Shannon Brandt will appear in court on Thursday for his initial appearance. Washington state has agreed to pay $2.75 million to a woman who was seriously hurt in a rollover crash involving a state Department of Transportation vehicle on Highway 522. A Kentucky couple has been arrested after authorities discovered human remains inside a tote bag in a storage locker while searching for a missing girl. Cheyanne Porter, 27, and Jose Gomez-Alvarez, 31, were each charged with tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse, the Daviess County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday in a news release. Deputies learned of the missing girl from a caller who reported that they had not seen one of the children who was in the care of Porter and Gomez-Alvarez for some time.  "The caller stated that [Porter and Gomez-Alvarez] had different excuses as to why this child was never with the other children and believed something may have happened to the child," the sheriff’s office said.
