After deciding she wanted to find love, Amy hit it off with Ace and the pair continued their blossoming romance after the cameras stopped rolling. However, things soon went south when Ace ghosted Amy after a few months of talking.
So the 22-year-old decided she wanted answers and signed them both up to BBC reality show Eating With My Ex, which sees people reuniting with their former love interests to talk things through. I’d seen the show before and thought, “What better way to get closure?” I wasn’t hung up on it, but it was a good way of getting that closure. He wasn’t really communicating with me in any other way, so I thought, “Let’s get him on that!” How’s your dating life now? I got a new phone at the end of last year and deleted all the dating apps.
I can’t sit there, scrolling and ticking yes or no over someone’s picture. I also can’t bear the thought of someone else sitting and looking at my profile. I’d much rather meet someone organically.
