GMB's Susanna Reid asks if Love Island has turned into 'Gemma Owen Island'

Amanda Holden has revealed she has decided to ban her eldest daughter Lexi Hughes from ever appearing on Love Island in the future. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 51, made the comments after discussing how her daughter, 16, had become "obsessed" by the latest series of the ITV2 dating show. She explained her decision saying that Lexi may have gotten ideas to be a future islander after seeing how Michael Owen's 19 year old daughter Gemma had got on since entering the villa.

Good Morning Britain fans have been left convinced that Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid have fallen out as he continues to miss the ITV morning show. The 66 year old presenter was absent from Monday 27 June morning’s episode after Adil Ray stood in with Susanna, 51 as co-host.

X-Factor is rumoured to be making a return to our screens next year, Good Morning Britain announced today. Rumours about the show’s return have been rumbling since late last year, however it is yet to be confirmed by a network.

Good Morning Britain's Entertainment Editor Richard Arnold revealed that the show has a secret family connection to Love Island contestant Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.The 52 year old made the revelation as he presented a clip of Ekin-Su acting quite animatedly in Turkish soap opera Kuzey Yildizi on Wednesday morning's show.  Richard informed hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid that he’d received help in translating the footage from a GMB colleague working behind the scenes of GMB, who is actually quite closely related to Ekin-Su. “So we had that translated by one of our colleagues who turns out to be Ekin-Su’s cousin,” Richard said, surprising the co-presenters. Susanna Reid had a little bit of Love Island shade to share this morning as she returned to Good Morning Britain. The presenter was back hosting the show on Monday (June 13) alongside Richard Madeley.
