Glastonbury announce Field Of Avalon line-up for 2023

Glastonbury 2023.The art sculpture is made by revolutionary underground artist Joe Rush, who is also the founder of the Mutoid Waste Company, and the “builder of rock’n’roll environments”. The design — which is named after Stonehenge — is developed out of 24 mutated vintage cars and will be displayed in the middle of the festival.According to the festival organisers, the design was made to highlight the outcasts of society and pay tribute to those who embody “punk ethos”.“[It is] dedicated to the pillars of Counterculture, a culture liberated from conformism and consumerism, a culture of subversion that stems from the uncompromising desire of a few rare visionary and revolutionary originators,” the description reads.

Depeche Mode have announced the acts that will be joining them as support on their upcoming ‘Memento Mori’ tour.Announced today (April 12), the band – which is comprised of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan – shared the five acts that will be joining them for their string of tour dates across the continent and the UK later this year.The update was shared on Instagram, where the iconic duo announced that Cold Cave and Young Fathers would be among the names joining them throughout their 34 upcoming shows.Other newly-announced artists joining them include Berlin-based band Hope, former Savages singer turned solo star Jehnny Beth and British trip-hop band Haelos.The European leg of the tour kicks off next month with two performances in the Netherlands, taking place on May 16 and May 18. Glastonbury Festival have announced ticket re-sale dates and details, giving fans another chance to get into the 2023 edition of the festival this June.The first main batch of tickets went on sale back in November – with coach and ticket packages selling out in under 25 minutes. Later, the general sale saw all tickets go in just over an hour, with organisers announcing that “demand far exceeded supply”.Now, after the main line-up was announced last month with the bill topped by Elton John, Arctic Monkeys and Guns ‘N’ Roses, the festival has announced music-lovers have the chance to purchase tickets on re-sale.

The Killers and Foo Fighters join Vedder as the headliners for the three-day festival, taking place Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at Doheny State Beach in Doheny Point. Haim, the Chicks and the Pretenders are the second-billed acts across the three days. Other marquee attractions in the idyllic beachside setting will include Father John Misty, the War on Drugs, Japanese Breakfast, Goose and Rainbow Kitten Surprise.

Fatboy Slim has announced the line-up for 2023’s edition of All Back to Minehead festival.Following last year’s inaugural event, the festival returns to Butlin’s Minehead resort from November 10-13. Coldplay have announced the support acts for their upcoming 2023 UK and European ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour dates.The band have been on tour across the planet since last spring, and played a host of UK stadium gigs last summer including six sold-out Wembley Stadium gigs.This summer, the band will return to the UK and Europe for further stadium dates following gigs in South America. Across May, June and July, the band will play Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and more, with two new UK dates in Manchester and Cardiff.The new dates will kick off in Coimbra, Portugal on May 17, before the band will play two shows at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on May 31 and June 1.Leading the list of support names for the stadium shows are Griff and Chvrches, the latter of whom supported the band in South America, with vocalist Lauren Mayberry joining them on stage in São Paulo.Other bands set to support Coldplay include Hinds and Porij.
