Caroline Brew editor The Gersh Agency has appointed Matt Andrée Wiltens as senior vice president and head of global corporate communications. This comes as Gersh begins its global expansion plan following an equity investment from Crestview Partners in 2023.
“Matt is a highly talented publicist, and brings with him a wealth of experience. We are thrilled to welcome him to Gersh at this exciting time in our company’s history,” co-president of The Gersh Agency Leslie Seibert said in a statement.
Andrée Wiltens most recently served as Amblin Partners’ vice president of marketing and communications. Over those five years, he was a publicist for the company’s film and television divisions, Steven Spielberg, Kristie Macosko Krieger and Amblin’s senior executives.
Andrée Wiltens worked on marketing and publicity campaigns for “1917,” “The Fabelmans,” “West Side Story,” “Green Book,” “The Americans,” “Good Night Oppy” and “The Haunting of Hill House” and “Bly Manor,” among others. Following his departure from Amblin in August, Andrée Wiltens has been working in-house with Michael Mann on the campaign for his film “Ferrari.” Before joining Amblin, Andrée Wiltens worked at Paramount Pictures for over a decade, eventually being appointed as vice president of global brand strategy.
In this role, he oversaw global marketing strategies for films including “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” “Annihilation” and “Daddy’s Home 2.” He also orchestrated the announcement strategy for Netflix’s acquisition of “The Cloverfield Paradox.” “I’m grateful to Bob, David and Leslie for the opportunity to play a role in the next chapter of Gersh,” Andrée Wiltens said in a statement. “It’s an honor to join this exceptional team.”
