Gerard Butler was spotted enjoying a meal in Edinburgh on Monday night. The Paisley-born star delighted staff as he popped into the popular Italian eatery on Merchant Street.
The P.S I Love You star took snaps with restaurant staff after he enjoyed some Italian cuisine, reports Edinburgh Live.
Taking advantage of the rare encounter, Alberto Crolla, Director of the Vittoria Group, snapped a picture with the Scottish acting hero.
It comes as the 53-year-old was recently spotted at Old Salty's on Byres Road in Glasgow's West End.
Sharing a snap with Gerard on Instagram, bosses at the restaurant said it was an "absolute pleasure" to serve the actor.
The restaurant wrote in the caption: "From Hollywood Boulevard to Byres Road just for the Old Salty’s experience! An absolute pleasure to look after Gerard Butler last night."
Fans flocked to the comments, writing: "He has good taste," while another added: "Best in the west".
The star has been kept busy in the past few months, and only recently left Tenerife after spending 11 weeks on the island filming his new movie 'Den of Thieves 2: Pantera', which will hit cinemas next year.
Gerard is known for starring in movies such as Angel Has Fallen, Plane, Greenland and Last Seen Alive.
