Gemma Atkinson claps back at 'offensive' Gorka Marquez rumours involving Strictly Come Dancing

Gemma Atkinson has clapped back at 'offensive' rumours that can often surround the stars of Strictly Come Dancing stars, including her fiance Gorka Marquez, when it comes to their love lives.
The show has been the catalyst for many romances over the years, including the Gemma and Gorka's. The couple met on the BBC One dance contest in 2017 when Gemma, 39, was paired with Aljaz Skorjanec and Gorka, 33, partnered with Alexandra Burke.
The pair's love continued to blossom after the competition had come to an end and they officially went public with their relationship following the end of the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour in early 2018. And the rest, as they say, is history with Gemma and Gorka now engaged with two adorable children.

And while it's still set to be confirmed if Gorka will return to the ballroom this year, or if he does, who he'll be paired with, Gemma has been speaking about the so-called 'Strictly curse' and how she doesn't let the rumours about what can a long-d0stacne relationship between herself and the dancer.
Speaking to Woman magazine, the Bury-born Hits Radio host said: "It's quite offensive - not to me, but to Gorka and his celebrity partner, or to anyone on the show. You are more or less saying to them 'are you going to cheat on your partner this year then?'
"If I walked into an office and asked that, everyone would be like 'why would I do that? But because it's a TV show we are asked every year 'Is this the year he will cheat?' Nobody says to Gorka 'is there a Strictly curse at home?"
